ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Candidates must be under 18 years of age at the time of the examination. Allowance will be made, where appropriate, for the range of the candidate's voice. The signing of the testimonial by both the choir trainer and the incumbent signifies that the candidate has achieved a satisfactory attendance (at least 75%) over the preceding 12 months. Candidates and choir trainers are reminded that they are required to provide an accompanist for the prepared items. If no accompanist is provided on the day of the examination the candidate may choose to sing unaccompanied or not to proceed with the examination. Please note that to encourage publicity it is our custom to take photographs at the presentation of awards and to forward these to candidates’ local papers and the diocesan magazine. If you do not wish to be featured in any publicity, please notify us in advance in writing.
